Seeking out international opportunities to complement your studies and provide you with professional experience can be daunting, especially due to the high price on many of these programs. Luckily, the International Internship Program has two fantastic opportunities in Denmark this spring that are almost fully funded for US citizens—that’s right, almost fully funded!—thanks to the Scan|Design Foundation and the Worldwide Internship Program Grant.
What is the Scan|Design Foundation Grant?
US citizens will receive an automatic grant from the private Scan|Design Foundation that can go towards program costs and expenses related to the internship. The exact amount is based on the number of weeks at the internship, at a rate of $500/week. The best part? No separate application is required!
What is the Worldwide Internship Program Grant?
The Worldwide Internship Program grant, also known as the WIP Grant, is an automatic award of $1,000 towards the program fee for the required online course that accompanies the internship in the spring ($300 grant amount in summer).
What Opportunities are Available?
For spring 2020, we have two great opportunities that would be covered by both of these grants, both located in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.
Wiredelta IT/Business Internship
Wiredelta is a digital agency working to build web and mobile application for high-growth companies. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in IT, Digital Marketing, Project Management or Finance.
CareCom is a Danish healthcare software company in Hellerup, a northern suburb of Copenhagen. This would be a great opportunity for anyone creative who is interested in marketing, event planning, professional writing, or social media.
