With an Assist from SoHE, Maren Stewart Interns in Australia

An avid soccer fan, Maren recently had the opportunity to attend a World Cup game between Nigeria and Canada.

Rising senior Maren Stewart is interning with The Fermentary in Melbourne, Australia this summer.

As a Consumer Studies and Marketplace Behavior major with a certificate in Entrepreneurship, Maren is putting her communications and marketing skills into practice, helping the organization with content creation and promoting workshops and presentations. Of course, she’s soaking up a lot of Australian culture too. To get an inside look at Maren’s experiences at The Fermentary and in Melbourne, follow her Instagram Takeover.

This internship was developed specifically for UW undergraduates by the International Internship team at International Academic Programs, the central study abroad office at UW-Madison. Click here to learn more about The Fermentary’s Content Creation Internship.

While the internship includes a stipend, SoHE’s Summer Internship Scholarship also helped Maren financially support her summer experience abroad.
