Congrats, IIP! The School of Human Ecology is grateful for your partnership! Here’s to the next 10 years of impacting students’ global perspective and career preparation.
Congratulations IIP! My internship in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 2017 launched my career as an ESL teacher that has allowed me to live in various Spanish-speaking countries. IIP helped me not just gain international work experience, but also to create meaningful, lifelong personal connections. After connecting the organization I was working for in the Dominican Republic to IIP, I was able to experience being on the receiving side of the program, hosting and mentoring the first intern in 2019.
Thank you, IIP, for all of your dedication and support throughout the years!
Happy tenth birthday, IIP! I am enjoying reading the alumni profiles and the impact those internships had on their lives and careers. Here’s to the next ten years and beyond!
How great to see the comments and updates from our IIP alumni! Well done all of you, along with the fabulous IIP team. So proud to have been part of this great program.
Congrats on 10 years helping to develop students professional skills abroad! It’s been a joy working with your office and watching you continue to grow.
The alumni profiles really demonstrate the value added to students studying at UW-Madison and beyond. Great work – I’m looking forward to seeing where you’ll be in another decade!
